Chart Vizzard
Vizzlo's AI-based chart generatorDishwashers aren't equally common around the world
This horizontal bar chart compares dishwasher ownership rates across selected countries in 2025, highlighting how the appliance remains far more common in some parts of the world than others. While Germany, Sweden, Italy, France, Canada, and Spain all report ownership rates above 55%, countries such as India, South Korea, Japan, and especially Mexico have substantially lower household adoption.
The visualization reveals clear regional differences in household appliance ownership. In many European countries, dishwashers have become a standard household appliance, whereas ownership remains relatively limited across much of Asia and Latin America. These differences likely reflect a combination of income levels, housing characteristics, kitchen size, cultural habits, and consumer preferences.
Using a ranked horizontal bar chart with color-coded ownership groups, the graphic makes it easy to compare countries, identify leading and lagging markets, and quickly recognize global patterns in dishwasher adoption.
